Aashayein- Adopt A Village is the social initiative of the Rotaract Club of H.R College which aims at holistic development of rural villages in Maharashtra. This initiative focuses on holistic development under the four key areas of water, light, education & entrepreneurship and sanitation & hygiene. Under the dais of Aashayein- Adopt a Village since its inception 8 years ago, The Rotaract Club of H.R. College has made a difference to thousands of lives in the hamlets and villages of Sangamner Taluka in the Ahmednagar District of Maharashtra.At present, Aashayein- Adopt a Village is the biggest and most impactful social initiative run by any student body of H.R. College of Commerce and Economics.
