Light
Liter of Light
Imagine a family living in a kachha (temporary) hut, in a small hamlet, of a small village, in one block, which is part of a district, in a state. This family has never seen man made light or electricity in their entire lifetime. The only source of light these people have after sunset is by building a fire.
Through the NGO Liter of Light, we ensure that light reaches everyone everywhere. We build solar powered recycled community street lights, solar powered house lights and even provide solar study lamps for children to be able to study after sunset.
